Re: Track Design
We should have either BIT Land or the Retro Battle stage should have parts dedicated to a few classic games. I fell like that'd work best for the battle stage since It'd be best divided into 4 parts with different properties, kinda like GCN Block City. Onebpart would be SMB1 and would be quite flat, then there'd be SMB1 Underground which'd be the lowest elevated, SMB2 which'd have a lot of high points and SMB3 which'd feature a m8x of all of them.
Also, I feel like instead of gliding over Bowser's Castle in GBA RR you should drive on it for a small section, kinda like the space station stuff in U RR.

Nice ideas for the battle course and for BIT land , I was thinking the 1st section takes place in the present then as soon as you reach the 2nd section you take a boost glide (like mk8 big blue) and everything including your character and the music will turn 8 bit and have tons of references to 8-bit games (NES) and the last (3rd) section turns everything 16-bit and has tons of 16-bit references (SNES)

Also sounds cool, but making every character 8-Bit/16-Bit would be really hard.
